Dental assistant terms — staging
These draft terms implement the fixed business model that MKSS Investments Pty Ltd operates DentalPool and DentalPool engages approved Dental Assistants as casual employees. Clinics are clients and host workplaces, not the employer. No DA ABN is required.
Standing employment agreement
Each worker accepts one standing casual employment agreement and receives the required Fair Work and Casual Employment Information Statements. A new employment contract is not created for each shift.
Eligibility and offers
Offers depend on work rights, employment and induction completion, verified eligibility, availability, required skills and software proficiency, quality status, conflicts and authorised travel. Each offer states the site, date, start and finish, break, duties, skills, software, travel, estimated pay and site instructions before acceptance.
No DentalPool fee for assistants
DentalPool does not charge Dental Assistants a booking, matching, commission or platform fee. Clinics fund employer cost and any approved DentalPool Service Fee. Normal PAYG withholding, superannuation and lawful payroll treatment still apply.
Extensions, release and safety
A Dental Assistant may accept or decline a shift extension; declining does not reduce reliability. A release request may include a suggested substitute, but DentalPool must independently verify and formally reassign. The host clinic supplies required PPE; the Dental Assistant supplies suitable scrubs. Incidents can be reported by either party and serious matters may pause matching pending human review.
Approval required
The working award assumption is MA000027 with a three-hour minimum engagement and effective-dated classification rules. Rates, classifications, agreement wording and the mandatory 1 January 2027 review require professional approval before real payroll.
